Binh Duong New City is the center of the Southern Key Economic Region, adjacent to the economic gateways in the region. It is an intersection of arterial transport routes that serve as a gateway connecting city to cities, city to industrial parks, industrial parks and urban areas with public facilities and utilities.
Binh Duong New City is the center of Binh Duong Smart City, honored by the ICF World Smart Community Forum as the Most Typical Smart Community in 2023 (Top 1 ICF). In addition, in 2019, Becamex was granted a membership certificate by the World Trade Center Association and qualified to establish the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC). As a result, Binh Duong has connected with more than 300 World Trade Centers from more than 100 countries, and developed WTC-branded real estate complexes. It will become a promising point for promoting economic exchanges, trade and services, research & development and technology transfer.
To support training, research and development, commercialization, and start-up activities, an innovation ecosystem has also been formed and is gradually developing strongly. The ecosystem includes System of Labs, Smart Production Center, Becamex Business Incubator of Eastern International University playing the role of training high human resources and conducting scientific and technical research; Becamex Institute of Science and Technology Research and Development; Experimental Manufacturing Center and Block71 Saigon – a strategic partnership between Becamex and the National University of Singapore to connect Vietnam’s tech startup ecosystem with the world.
Binh Duong New City is the political, economic, cultural and financial center of Binh Duong province with about 1,000 hectares well-planned and invested in infrastructure. The city is divided into subdivisions: economic-financial center, residential and central park. It meets the residential needs of nearly one million residents with a variety of housing types in different segments, as well as a variety of services, utilities and infrastructure of high standards.
